What do you mean by flipdown? The Redant screens I am looking for are standalone. Pictures would be cool. Thanx

Hey I ordered one of these and just want to give people considering a heads up.
It is a very nice screen and the one pixel is hardly noticeable. However, if you are using the powersupply included, check the voltage with a multimeter FIRST! I had a bad ac adapter and it put out 20v. Dave does test everything but the screen handled the 20v for about half hour before I noticed anything (sorta like a wavy blurry thing on the left of the screen).
Anyway, just test it before as he does not give replacements for the screens or even the bad powersupply.

I think all the adapters that I've ever received from the manufacturer were putting out around 20v. All the ones I used have worked fine. Anyways, these were sold at an extreme discount, under the pretense that they were somewhat defective, so there would be no returns, ok? Anyhow, I have 1 left. It has no AC adapter at all ( I used it for something else ) and I'll do it for 140$. Thats it, one left, first to pay wins.
Thanks everyone for the good response. If I get any more of these bad screens I'll do this again.

I hate e-checks.... now I have to wait 5 days. Anyways, That is correct. There are NO MORE OF THESE. Thanks for the orders. I don't have any of the redant screens in stock right now, but I've got lots of the 5.6" in dash screens you can see in my other posting. Everyone has been really happy with them, and although they're pretty small, you guys have used smaller screens for computers, and this one is already in the in-dash housing.
    Thanks everyone.

    Talking Thanks Dave

I'm writing to give a good feedback about DSCustoms, yesterday I received my redant 7in. package was extremely well packed with big bubble wrap around its box. You hardly notice the pixel, I tested it with my N64, now I can play WWf No Mercy in my car waiting for the physics lab in the parking.
Very trustable, thanks a lot Dave!!
