    WTB: Linksys WRT54G v5 Wall/AC Adapter

    Basically self explanitory.

I have a computer client that moved houses, and in the process of doing so, lost the power adapter for her router.

Linksys wants to charge like $40 for it which I think is BS because she can get a new Linksys router for $29.99...

Anyone out there with one of these, or know where to get one cheap?

    You PM
'd me late last night, and I was asleep. I'm not a night owl like you, man.

I may have one. I'll look through my menagerie of crap later today and see.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?

Just so you know, I need something with 5V and 2A. THat's what the bottomo the router says.

    Thanks,

I have a 5V 2.5A adapter, with a barrel connecter the same size as my wrt54g v3 router.

    $7 shipped?

Did that adapter from your USB hub not work? I'm guessin the barrel plug was probably too small eh?

It actually did work, but unfortunately the USB hub isn't mine. I just called Ratshack and they said that they don't have anything that's 2A...

I'm looking at an old Linksys Accesspoint here that stopped working.... it has the right connection, but it belongs to the job.....

Hmmm.... to steal or not to....

    Peace,
