WTB: Touchscreen...nothin flashy needed

Im looking to build a custom thing, its all in my head right now, but to make it work one needs to at least find the parts to see if its even possible.

Id be looking for a touchscreen 10" or less, but only need the LCD and the touchy screeny part.

See i need a slim solution for a touchscreen, and since ive yet to own a lilliput I dont know what you get when you remove everything non essential to its functioning.

What is more is id be lookin for it, of course to be a simple USB plug-in solution as far as the touchscreen part goes. LCD is of course DVI or VGA.

Anyone got something they have that might fit this description, either to sell or point me in a better direction?

A lilli will do the job just fine

VGA for input
and simply USB for touchscreen.
+ 12v

not flaming just asking: but how do you have 800+ posts and not know any of this?

everything (dimensions, input, power requirements, mods etc) you want to know about the lilli is already given in the LCD/Display section. check it out.

anik...bro...haha, a touch screen for a 10.4" screen costs a mere $10. The sad thing is this: the better screen for carputing, other than the mad dash hacking that you'll have to do actually costs LESS than a lilli. Scary huh?

Anyways, i actually have a touchscreen and LCD. 10.4" And i have a parts one with a cracked touchscreen adn LCD with a GOOD backlight and boards (i.e., parts if you blow out something). I even have the stock inverter if you're interested. It was used in a tablet PC.

I think I am running into design problems with my little pet project.

id need an LCD (touchscreen out the box or otherwise) that is about the same dimensions (width x height) of a laptop keyboard.

something like 11" or 13", but widescreen as if it was square, it wouldnt fit into my designs.

hence, if I am correct in assuming itd be almost impossible to find widescreen VGA LCDs other than lilli's...im fuct?
