Shipping Prices - Specific and Generic Allowances

Sorry I haven't PM'd you guys on this . . . my wife wouldn't let me online last night and now I'm at work and need to get started . . .

    US Zips:

    Zip: 01830
    For 1: $25
    For 2: $25
    For 3: $43

    Zip: 50023
    For 1: $16
    For 2: $16
    For 3: $28

    Canada Zips:

    Zip: E3V-3T4
    For 1: $46
    For 2: $46
    For 3: $87

    Zip: MSW-1E2
    For 1: $33
    For 2: $33
    For 3: $58

So It looks like by this rather small sampling that we should allow $25 for US and $46 for CAN. (for 1 and 2 screens). ... If you don't see your zip just allow for those numbers and I'll paypal back what doesn't get used of it. (Sorry, I don't want to make multiple visits to the UPS store for each order)

btw I thought I had a UK order (ukcris) but was wrong but just out of curiousity I asked what that would cost . . . $269 for 1 and $337 for 2.

If you are out of the US (in Canada), don't forget about duties . . . I was thinking i would mark the package gift - Computer Screen . . .. You Canadian guys think that would make the most sense?

Yah duties are a problem(costing extra) getting things into canada. I've had items shipped from the US into Canada, and as long as the package is maked with a value of less the $50, and marked as a gift, they don't add duty charges.

The AC power supplies I'm looking at will be $30 each i think (no profit for me there) but I have to make sure they work. They are radio shack 30v ac/dc adapters. Still no luck for anyone wants that wants a DC/DC adapter (car) .

    AC Power and Wireing/Guarentee

If you want AC power supplies they will be $30 each (From me)
(These can be bought at Radio shack for less) (I'll post a item number next week)

If you want it wired (and guarenteed to work upon arrival) then I'm going to charge another $15/each. (it takes about 30 Minutes with a screw driver and soldering iron to do it the way I do it) The guarentee is a DOA guarentee. . . I will send you another if it doesn't boot up. (Unless I run out) Shipping of the dead unit would be at the purchaser's expense.

Either way I will power them up without wireing them to make sure they boot but it would be easy for someone to fry it, wireing it wrong, so I only gaurentee to people that either pay for them to be wired or have bought one before.

I will prob make a walk through on how to do it real soon but for now it's just sorting through all the threads on mp3.com

All you mp3car peeps are my guinea pigs. I'm going to try and sell some more of these on ebay for (hopefully) alot more money. We shall see.

    PowerSupply and order details

This is the radioshack adapter I've found in town: (Cost $25-$30)
    RadioShackAdapterLink

Here are two other adapters that were reccomended by some that can be bought online (have not used them myself) ($10ish)

Anyone who wants a computer please email me at [email protected] with your order/address.
Don't forget to tell me if you want me to go ahead and wire it up ($15/each). (and if you want one of my somewhat overpriced power adapters). Once I get address/email/offical order I'll send a paypal payment request and ship asap

    P.O. Boxes Suck!

I learned something new today. . . P.O Boxes suck!.
Paid $60 bucks for something that I was quoted $25ish for the same zip code.

Apparently UPS store ain't allowed to ship to a P.O. Box. So they have to use standard US postal.

What sucks is I already billed the guy $125 and Paypal milked me for $5 already.
