For the screen, you are looking at $200 minimum and that is for a 7" TS. You will have to fabricate it a little bit because it is close but not exactly double din size. You can get a 1-din flip out for about $300. When choosing a screen make sure it is VGA resolution.

GPS does not need an internet connection. It uses the time delay between satellite signals to estimate your location to within a meter.

Bluetooth adapters can be had for like $5 to $20 depending on new/used and where you buy it.

You should get a DC-DC power solution so you are not inducing noise into your system with an inverter. Inverters are also very innefecient because they go from DC to AC back to DC. As for startup, check your BIOS and see if there is an option to power on after power failure. And for shutdown, XP has good laptop power settings. If it still has the battery, then set XP to shutdown/standby after xx minutes.

Also you will need an amp to power your speakers, because you cannot directly feed the laptop's output to the car speakers. It just won't work.

I don't have any of these items for sale, but I thought I would answer some of yoru questions and give you a price estimate on a few of them.

reading hwat you put, from your question about GPS alone, i question if you're ready for this task (honestly). I would say spend a few weeks on this site reading nad answerign all yoru questiosn before jumping in above your head. That is, unless, you sell all your stuff at deeply discounted prices. then, by all means, go right ahead. I'll be here waiting.
