I got a lifebook S2000 (might be a bit off on the model)
1.6ghz/700mb RAM/30gb HD. NO SCREEN.
Power button hacked, runs perfectly.

I got an apple 12" iBook G4 800Mhz (trust me its faster than any 1Ghz+ pentium)

the LCD is dim, i think its the inverter. so its good for your application.

battery is 98% capacity.

no i would like a complete laptop if the screen is missing i can't work with that but broke/dim i'll repair don't really want too but yes i will. my setup is just motherboard/processor/ram (commell lv-670lvds)( p42.8/512/533) (512mb ram) i would like to keep this setup but i really need a laptop right now and i can't spend to much 4 one but if i have to i'll cash it out !
