those were gateway m275 boards... I seen a few with 2.0 processors just sell for like $150 each! that's less than the processor alone is worth, & includes the whole motherboard.... I can't buy everything I see though... that's what i keep telling myself

there a great solution too, but if you want a great screen, then this whole tablet can be a good solution... it's way fast enough for a carpc as is.... it's only a 1.2, but these are Pentium m centrino & with the 2mb cache nothing like a via, these things are pretty fast... this tablet can be dissected & be your whole carpc no problem...

The reason I was suggesting a seperate mobo and screen is that he could get a screen right now and have the guys doing his interior mold it in. Then he could do what ever he wanted to with the PC side of things when he got back to the states. Just a thought.

No...I want to run in landscape. I made a boo-boo before, lol. But everything needs to be finished in the shop. It is getting ready for Spring Break Nats in March. I won't be back until September, and then I leave the car again...for 3 years

If that's for the brain AND controller, it's a real good deal. I paid $500 for mine used.
