glad to see your computer is up. one thing- personal feeling- your prices should be invesred lol! That dell board is a monster!
Time to clean house...
(1) Acer Power Small Form Factor PC. Last one of several I've owned. These are good little machines that can handle up to a 233 MHz Pentium I or a 400MHz AMD K6-II. I suspect that a K6-II+ or K6-III will work also.
It takes normal PC100 SDRAM and a regular IDE HDD or CD-ROM. The CPU is a good old Socket 7. The motherboard has everything integrated and has a good set of DIP switches to accomodate different CPUs. I'll help you with your upgrade or configuration assuming I can remember everything!
With 256MB of RAM and a 400MHz K6-II I've run Windows XP Home without difficulty.
Current configuration:
AMD K6 300MHz
64MB (2 x 32MB) PC100 SDRAM
CD-ROM
2GB IDE HDD
No Keyboard
No Mouse
$70 will get it shipped to your address in the USA. Offers are welcome and will be thoughtfully considered.
(2) I have two bare motherboards from Ultra Small Form Factor Dell Optiplex GX620 or SX280. These are modern motherboards for Pentium IV chips and they're smoking little machines. The motherbaord is about ten inches square! It'll take some work to make these in to a new system because I don't have the power supply, processor, heatsink or fans. Again, this is a bare motherboard in the metal tray.
$50 will get one shipped to your address in the USA. Offers are welcome and will be thoughtfully considered. (I have two available)
