    FS: $100 - OPUS 150 & Battery & Remote Control Power / Reset

This is a nice little combo for sale. Includes an OPUS 150w Power Supply, 7AH 12v Gell Cell Battery and a Remote Controlled Relay board with 2 remotes. The relay board will control the power and reset on a motherboard (all wiring included). The remote control Relay board runs on 12v power (always on).

Everything is in great shape and works like a champ. $100 Shipped UPS Ground. Paypal Only.

hi, may i know what the remote control Relay can do? can i auto switch to the 2nd battery when i turn off engine (without reboot PC?) and if the circuit can help to charge the battery when the engine is on?

how long can the 7AH battery last and if you can sell without the battery (as i want to save on shipping)

    thanks

Like I said, the remote control relay is to control the Reset and Power buttons, just like on a regular PC. You hit one button on the remote to reset the pc, the other controls the power button. There are two other momentary relays (when the button on the remote is pressed, the relay closes, when you let go of the button, the relay opens) on the remote and control board, do with those as you like. Personally, I think it's damn handy to have remote Reset and Power Buttons.

You can just put the second battery in parallel with the car battery. Then put a relay between your car and your second battery/car pc. That relay should be connected to accessory power. When the car is on, the relay should close making the car pc run off the car power and charge the second battery. When the relay is open the car pc is only running off the second battery.

how long can the 7AH battery last and if you can sell without the battery (as i want to save on shipping)

    thanks

The battery will last for 7AH. If your car pc pulls 7 amps, it will last for 1 hour. If it pulls 3.5 amps it will last for 2 hours. It's not an exact science, but you'll need to know how many Amps your carpc will pull to figure it out.

    Price without the battery $98.

I'm not interested in parting this out. But if you want just the opus, it's $98.

Nobody wants an OPUS with a remote controlled Reset and Power Switch? I can't imagine having a car computer with out a remote controlled reset and power switch - especially with windows!

Will they relay board work with an M2-ATX? If so, how much for just the relay board & remote? Also, how far away does it work?
