PC2700 is backwards compatible so you can use it for your system.

I have 1 PC2700 512MB for $30+ shipping.

Not always. Trust me on that. Tried a 3200 in a 2700, tried a 133 in a 100. Its a crap shoot sometimes with laptops. That is a decent price though. I may take that action when i get a computer working

Everytime I tryed it works... (2700 in 2100 systems) this includes machine like dell,IBM,toshibas and more (I have a friend that have a computer parts business so he hook me up with part at pretty good prices)

But yea chances are that it won't work (like everything in life

)
