    Slot-Loading DVD Drive w/ Enclosure

    Hey all -

    I have a slot-loading DVD drive AND a USB 2.0 enclosure for it - $100

    This enclosure is powered by the USB cable, and does NOT require any additional cables. A must have!!

    I pretty much have the same kind of slot loading dvd drive. I need an enclosure. Where did you buy yours from and does it work well?

    sorry for the delay!

    I got the enclosure on eBay for around 40 bucks I believe about 8 months ago. Works great.

    Yes, it does have the 5v barrel in the back in case it is connected to a USB Hub that does not have enough power to power it. I use it on my Dell XPS and did not require any additional power cord.
