Well, I've given up. I already have the Rio Car (Empeg) but I was going to build my own anyway. I've now decided against it because I've moved on. This stuff is now forsale:
VIA Mini ITX C3 800mhz system w/128mb SDRAM and Mini ITX case, power supply, and F1064A 12V 3.3A DC power supply - $150
Avermedia TV Phone FM/TV Tuner (works with Winamp plugins to tune FM radio and watch TV), I was going to use Winamp to control everything and this works great with it, comes with remote - $30
6.4" LCD, 300nit (cd/m^2), w/.5" scratch not visible when screen is on, works off of 12V computer power supply - $150
Intellitouch Touchscreen System, 6.5" overlay, 2500S serial controller, and serial cable - $120
Imac Slim Slot loading DVD drive with adapter that does NOT stick out, adapter has 4 pin power and 40pin IDE - $60
Delorme Earthmate GPS with PS/2 power adapter - $100
10.4" Intellitouch Overlay w/serial controller (E281-2300) - $100
I know for sure that everything works except for the touchscreens. I haven't tested either of them because I never got the time. The 6.5" overlay is new, the other ones I don't know. My email address is tbdombrosky@yahoo.com. I will sell as packages for a discount.

may i ask where you got that adapter that does NOT stick out from the mac DVD??? How much was it?
