i'm interested in your mnonitor, is it the 2008 backlit model?
if so what do you want for it?
thinking about selling complete car system:
mac mini ppc 1.42, bluetooth and wi-fi with internal modem, recently upgraded to 1 GB ram and a new hard drive. has superdrive, but the superdrive doesn't burn disks anymore. minor scratches, nice computer with relatively little use since bought new from apple a few years ago.
lots of pre-installed software including virtual pc, xp, point of sale and pc navigation software, also photoshop, CS1 suite, final cut pro suite, microsoft 2004, amp auto software, ect, with original tiger install disks and ilife 05.
bu-353-usb-gps bought new a few months ago, not really ever used as i got a magellen gps for christmas.
new in fall cnx 2140 with mac pac cable sytem
lilliput 629 touchscreen 7" monitor recently upgraded to the 3m anit-glare dbef and bef-2 films, also have uninstalled non-cut esr backlight diffuser film and amr200 anti glare film overlay. bought used last year, but in perfect working condition with all cabels-may keep mounting bracket separate.
will also include an external backup harddrive.
currently installed in a 2004 mini cooper, i will also include complete wiring and mounting systems to match your own mini cooper or similar sized car.

lilliput 629 has a manufacture date of late 2005. has original box and cigarette adaptor power cable, vga/usb cable, and power to cnx cable, i think it has an ac cable too. i might want to keep the mount, i custom fitted it to an AC vent which would work well with an ipodtouch.
i'd like to sell the complete system instead of parting it out.
but that may not be the most reasonable way. if i had to part it out: lilliput7"touchscreen=$150. cnx2140 with macpac=$125, mac mini with neptune external HD=$300, usb gps=$30, 1G radioshark=$30. all of the films i would probably sell with the monitor. bought separately, i'm sure the films would be quite expensive.
shipping extra at 0 markup. i kinda forgot what all these would be valued at, but that sounds pretty reasonable.
2005 is too old for me, i'm probably going to end up just buying a new one if i don't see a deal on a 2008 model before spring.
How well did the films work?
Thanks for the breakdown.
films make it useable in daytime.
actually can see the screen in direct sunlight pretty well. but overall the dbef and bef2 only make it about 25% as bright as a gps (for reference). overcast and night, it looks much sharper and clear than without the films. the amr200 did provide more anti-glare, but sacrificed too much touchability and took it off pretty much right away. haven't touched the ESR film, i'll leave that to next user, it is rated to improve the visibility the most. I would reccomend the films to anyone looking to get more out of their touchscreen monitor.
I think the project car (itty bitty ice cream mini) that the car computer is installed into just has too much other stuff going on.
following up on this a bit. hadn't checked emails in awhile.
I think I'm satisfied to sell everything previously listed for whatever. haven't had time to post these on ebay or check to see what everything is really worth, i haven't been using any of it since i removed the system from the car and i'm not greedy. the 2g ipod touch is a great little computer system for the ice cream business and i don't really need to hook the mac mini up as a media center anymore. i'll take some pictures and part it out for offers made.
