anyone have 633pc or cdi650?
anyone have 633pc or cdi650?
Both of these products can be found online. If nobody is currently selling it here, that might be your best bet, unless you are willing to wait for someone to sell it. Could take a while though - those units aren't too popular.
Thanks..But the reason I posted here is they no longer sell these items or have them in stock.. theere is a guy in spain on ebaythat lists a 633pc, but he has no stock ( even though he tells you he does ) I contacted Invotek and thwy have discontinued production of the 633pc..
So I have been looking on craigslist & ebay and here for one used or new,,,
Thanks again, But I found that guy too.. thats 700.00 for a " refurbished " unit.. not a factory refurb.. but thier refurbish ,, 700.00 is the old retail price when you could buy them, you could at one time buy them for 400.00 NEW on ebay..
again,, THANKS!!!!! but I'm still looking.
I would start following this thread: http://www.mp3car.com/lcd-display/14...6-s-h-113.html
Derrick, the guy selling these screens, is preparing a double din enclosure for them with hardware buttons, as well as an all-in-one unit. There's no mention of the price yet, though, or the release date.
I have a 663PC and wouldn't recommend it. It seemed OK at first but after having it on the bench and giving it a good work-out, it's colors started to show. I would assume you want one as a back-up just in case the computer malfunctions, that's what i wanted it for. However, i have not been able to get the GPS to work. Also, if you leave it on the home screen for long and switch to another screen, some of the home screen buttons will overlay the other screen. While playinf a DVD, if you "zoom" to fit the screen, the notice "zoom X2" that appears on-screen never goes away. The icons on the home screen self rearange when you shut the unit down; so if you move the GPS button from menu 2 to menu 1, it will be back in menu 2 when you power-up again. The darn thing has "made in Taiwan" all over it. There is no support for new maps or for simple things like how to pin-down the menu buttons. The GUI is kinda-a cheese too. This unit would be PERFECT to complement a computer in the car, if the computer brakes-down (which it will) you still have full capabilities with this unit (am/fm/DVD/GPS) if only it wasn't so cheaply made; hell, this may brake BEFORE the computer then you'de be really SOL (without a monitor)!
I asked for RMA just yesterday just to see how the seller (MP3PlayerStore) will react. If they give me any indication that they won't easyly refund it or exchange the unit, i will keep it - and maybe sell it to OP - LOL!
