this is based on the TI PCM2800 series, the B version (with that in mind, its input gain is not optimised for windows vista onwards)
(still works with vista onwards, just input level would need to be way low, like no more than 10)
basicaly its a USB sound card, with 2 channel out, and 2 channel in
