I have a Verizon mobile broadband plan with about a year left in the contract, and I have determined that I no longer need that service. I don't want to pay an early termination fee, so Verizon informed me that I can get someone else to take over my line through what's called an "Assumption of Liability" which basically means someone else takes that line and pays for it for the duration of the contract. This will let me get rid of the line AND avoid an early termination fee.
The appeal of this line is that it's 5gb a month for $50, which Verizon no longer offers. The closest Verizon currently offers is 4gb for $50 or 6gb for $60. I'll even throw in the Verizon Jetpack 4510L for free, since I'll no longer need it.
