One could never predict even the most obvious solutions. Although giants (such as Amazon and Sun) have taken on the "cloud" factor, this does not entitle them the leaders - at least not yet.
Around the corner lies a technology no one has thought of and without warning may trample on the efforts of "clouding"
I gave "cloud computing" a lot of thought 10 years ago and have since seen social networks burst at the seems with the demand of the end user. Blackberries account for billions of text-messaging going on every day just in the US alone.
I can safely say that the term "cloud computing" is more of an oxymoron to the word "internet" to the words "information highway" to the words "world wide web" - or am i wrong?
The vision hasn't changed much. The anticipation continues.
