CNX-P2140 Device can not start (Code 10)

After installing a new CarNetix CNX-P2140, I attached the USB cable from the CNX-P2140 to the Computer. When I installed the PSUmoni software and configured the drivers the device has an error. The error is: "The device can not start (Code 10)". By reading the CarNetix forums they say to flash the 2140 with the new firmware v1.4.4 but if I cant connect to the PSU how can I flash the new firmware? the PSU was purchased from mp3car.com. The reason why I need the USB cable and monitor software is because I would like to be able to change the startup delay timer. I would also like to monitor the PSU voltages while the computer is running.

Finally found a solution after trying 3 different computers, the problem here lies in the 64 vs 32 bit OS. Installing PSUmoni2140 on a 32 bit windows XP system yielded no errors and I was able to upgrade the firmware and change all the start up timings.

    Upgraded to the 1.8.02 firmware

    ACPI delay to 10 seconds
    ACPI Signal to 1 second.
