P2140 won't turn all the way off anymore

Somehow I got the P2140 so it won't do a full off anymore. It just goes in to suspend mode (blinking red LED, 12V output still on). Even though I have a 1 hour deadman's timer, it is still in that mode the next morning.

I'd rather it do a full-off so I don't drain the battery.

I've also had issues with it not shutting off at the low voltage shutdown. It took my battery down to 3 volts (which ruined an already weak battery).

I've got a new battery now, and just want the thing to turn OFF when I turn off the car. The PC properly shuts down, but the P2140 won't completely turn off.

Well I did a reset to factory defaults on it, and it seems to be working better now. At least it powers down when it should.
