    Need help!!!

    I will be running a windows based pc in my car with a touch screen. One of the main reasons I want to do this is to monitor engine parameters via the touch screen and have logging ability for this information.

    For sensors I could use:

    http://www.plxdevices.com/

    For analog input:

    http://www.labjack.com/labjack_u12.php

    What I cannot do is design a program to capture and display this information. If any one is interested in working on this project please let me know.

    I am trying to do the same thing, but thought that the easiest, (and cleanest) way to do it would be through my OBD port. My car is a 1957 chevy with a 1994 LT1 (OBD1) in it that is looking more and more like I need to go with a 1995 and newer OBD2 to get it the way I want it. I can find all kinds of good software for OBD2 but cant seem to find any that display the reading in a gauge form, (and not a readout, or graph). If you find any that work for you let me know and maybe we can both get our issues resolved.
