    Talking Finding 3d Models

I found some of the 3d models I want to use for skinning and Front End development.

    http://www.3dcadbrowser.com/preview.aspx?ModelCode=2448

and for the OBD-II Reader Front-End
    http://www.3dcadbrowser.com/preview.aspx?ModelCode=3229

Imagine an error code suddenly being represented on-screen by a 3d model representation highlighting the part in error. Problem is that I do not want to spend $75 for five models and not be able to access more for other cars, engines and parts. Does anyone else know of a better source for 3D models? Should I consider calling GM, Honda, Nissian, ect? Would they be able to provide me with 3D models to work with? Any input is welcome.
Make something idiot proof, and they'll make a better idiot. Car modification is not just a hobby, it is a business.

3dcadbrowser is where I got the model for my car, it was the cheapeast I could find. Now if I could just get the SDL/OpenGL binding to work right in my dash software

As an aside, here's a few pics from my dashboard software that were made with CAD.

A rotating widget that I ended up removing as it just was distracting.
