    Remote USB?

I think I'm looking in the wrong places... and maybe this isn't the right place to ask but here goes anyway

Here's my project... I have an AVIC-N1 so I know that it's pretty much only good for video quality input. I also have a via-epia that I've had for years. I'd like to use the via as a "server" for mp3s and videos controlled by a pocket pc using wifi (this is not a problem). I'd also like to use the "server" as a sort of usb hub for an addition gps reciever and obdii. I'm trying to find out if there is software that will allow the pocket pc to recognize the "server" usb ports as local? (I'm want to create my own obdii and gps programs for the pocketpc using vb.net)

    Thanks for any help.

SInce your using a pocket PC I am assuming your running some sort of embeded windows. Just google for remote desktop. You can control the "server" as if your sitting in front of it.
