Did a skyline dash display ever get finished? I've always wanted the dash out of a proper skyline...and R34!

that video shows the dash in action. at 1:18 is the gauge display and at 1:25 is the ideal G-meter. To change between there is an external button but it could be a touch button on the screen at the bottom. If someone could look into this also that would be great. I've been searching and just coming up empty

An R35 dash wouldn't be the end of the world but R34 would be 1000X better

Just noticed when posting, it shows the video at the point I'm at which is 1:18 which shows the gauge display!

Does Dash Command support OBD-1 (93 Chevrolet Van)? WinALDL can pull information from the ECM, so I was wondering.

Unfortunately, no. Currently it only supports OBD-II compliant vehicles.

Most of the new dash type systems require OBDII because it's easy to interface with -- just plug into the scanner connector. A lot of aftermarket EFI systems, however, use the older GM computers with PROMs made for different devices.

What would really be nice is a stand-alone interface for something like DashCommand. A small box that translated direct sensor inputs into an OBDII signal maybe. Would require one or more microcontrollers, something like PICs maybe? Would be a $200 or so accessory for DashCommand, but would cover all other vehicles such as hot rods and older cars.

That is why people like myself made such an interface and it works with any car.

I presume you're referring to Fusion Brain? There is still the matter of the software to interface it with.
