It looks like you've got the idea. I'm not familiar with any of the front-ends like RR, but I'm sure that it would be possible to show both if this is a feature of the front-end.
You can download the SkinXL Editor for DashCommand here:

You can also look at/download a bunch of skins made by other users here:

Hi,
I Read at post#271 and post#272 about the reconnect feature with Dashcommand. Just want to check if I buy the current version of dashcommand, in future if the reconnect feature is added. Do I have to buy the new version again?
Thanks

street_angel,
It should work with any OBD-II compliant vehicles (ECUs, really, since you could put an OBD-II compliant ECU in an old car). Here is an article that can help you determine OBD-II compliance:

nemo1,
No, it would be a free update.

I managed to get it working. When I tested it, it seems to be a lagging for the rpm and speed. Is there any way to fix this.....i've been searching various forums but could not find anything.

What vehicle are you connecting to? Some vehicles use a slower communication protocol and there isn't much we can do there. Other times its just a large dashboard that is taking too long to update (which would be apparent if you watched the Data View in comparison to the Dashboards view).

Hello Everyone,
am new at the web, was searching for some nice solution for digital gauges, planing install car pc in my Nissan and have digital gauges, actually i have it but they are different type and i dont think that stiles can be edited, so i found this solution through web, so does DashCommand™ works through nissan consult cable ?does anyone try this before ?
consult cable is different in Nissan cars and they are 14 pin small gray connector, will it work ?
thanks in advanced

DashCommand will not work with a Nissan Consult cable. It requires an OBD-II compliant interface and vehicle. If you're vehicle is OBD-II, you could get something like an OBDLink and have it work great:
