Can gauges come up without selecting them?

I am getting closer to completing my project. I was about to purchase Dashcommand for it when I downloaded the software and noticed you had to first select the gauges for the gauges to come up. I will be running windows XP with dual monitors. I would like one monitor for the gauges in front of the driver where the old analog gauges were to come up when the PC is started automatically. And the other touchscreen monitor will be between the driver and passenger for GPS, music and such. Can this be done? or better yet can it be done when Windows starts up? Is there a better piece of software I could use to make this happen? any help would be appreciated.

If you do not find a solution you will want to keep your eyes on Open Mobile. It is currently under development but has support for doing exactly what you want. Depending on what you are using it may work for you now but be aware it is under development and is changing day by day.

With OM you can have MANY screens and each can do its own thing. You may even be able to have different menus on other screens. (Haven't tried this yet. But if it doesn't I will add it myself when I get involved with it more.)

In my truck I plan to have multiple screens and will have different things on each screen and will be based on OM.

DashCommand can do this with a command line parameter, and you can have Windows start any application on startup. You can also have DashCommand automatically connect, and load the dashboards without you needing to touch it.

I describe how to do this in a little more detail here:

it does start it up in the dashboard, but its not in full screen and not on the correct screen. Is there a way to make it come up full screen on screen two opposed to screen one?
