    Thumbs up Beta version

Ok, here is a beta you can all try out.

    A few quick notes:
    • Streetdeck should automatically register the DLL that is in the DigiMod, but if it does not for some reason (i.e. stuff does not work) run "regsvr32 <dll>", where <dll> is the full path to the DLL in the DigiMod (MovieScout.dll)
    • Entering nothing for the zipcode will take the zip from the Nav
    • Note that it may take a while to download the data over a slow connection (it downloads about 50-200k)
    • Radius is limited to 50miles

Let me know what you think.

Here's hoping that we see more mods like this in the near future!

Just out of curiosity, if you're shipping real carPCs as you indicated, why are you messing around making digital mods for 'lil 'ole StreetDeck?

IIRC SYNC is a ford/mercury based system only (for the time being I hope the expand). I think its more like a regular audio system that integrates beautfully with the Zune (of course ) and has voice commands for playing your music. I do not think it has Navigation, or video support.

    Hey Mark,
SD crashes anytime I try to install this. I tried other digi mods and they installed fine. Don't have a crash log for you right now, but can get one if you need it.

    Thanks,
    Per

Hm... I bet SD team would like to see the log - I've pretty much given up on SD install engine, although I have to say it did correctly install this particular digital mod.

I built the DLL with VS9 so it might be upset about that. I will take a look at home tonight. What OS are you running?

Mine "installed" fine, but when I launch it I get 3 or 4 streetdeck style popup error boxes. I did it this morning before work, so I don't have screen shots, but it said something about ActiveX.

Yes, this is the VS9 issue, I will take care of that in the next day or two
