    Sirius Satellite

My Sirius Satellite DigitalMod.... Please try it out and let me now if there are any problems.

After installing you may need to register the COM Library. You can do this by going to the install directory, ..\My Documents\StreetDeck\Scripts\{56228B41-EF0B-469A-BE38-67AC73CF5C4C}, and running 'RunMeFirst.cmd'.

Also, the script by default is setup to search for the com port but it may not work depending on your setup so you'll need to set it manually. In the above directory edit the file 'sirius.vbs' and change the constant, Const MANUALCOMPORT = 0, to the number of the comport your Sirius module is connected to.

    .Net 2.0 Framework required.

Awsome. I've been holding off on streetdeck until this was available (Sirius is my primary source of in-car Entertainment).

Did you develop this for the Rush2112 hardware/drivers?

    God_Of_CPU,

Is there a way to update the CMusicTray overlay (artist, title, and album art) from a vbscript?

I have a couple of questions for you.

I bought the Sirius radio from the store with the usb interface adapter. Should I be able to just plug the USB into my PC and it will be automaticly recognized in the streetdeck digital mod?

Do I need to install any other software or drivers?

I am just curious if someone is using this for the first time... what all they will need to do?

You need to install the driver. Then, if I remeber right, the driver only supports com ports 1 through 9 so you may need to go into the device manager and do some rearranging.

By default the mod will search for the com port but if it fails you will need to set it manually. To do that you need to edit the sirius.vbs script and at the top is a contant named MANUALCOMPORT. Change this from 0 to whatever the com port is for the Sirius module. Read post #1 for the full details.

Also, I know you'll need to run the 'RunMeFirst.cmd' file in the directory since I didn't create a folder named addin and stick the siriuscom.dll into it. If I would have then StreetDeck would register it automatically. Just something I need to fix.

I'm still looking into making this mod more fully integrated into SteetDeck than it currently is so check back.
