i compiled the digimod using 188.8.131.52 but there no reason why this shouldnt work for any of the previous versions
I'm using 184.108.40.206 and keep getting the following error. I have uninstalled the previous version, even going as far as deleting the folder (the remove digimod option from within SD left the folder with two files in it). I've tried unistalling, rebooting, reisnitalling and about every other configuartion I could think of but keep getting this returned. And yes, I have internet access (sitting in front of the house with a confirmed connection to our home wifi network). Strange thing is, no matter how much I remove of the previous digimod there is still some gas price info from last year. I don't know if this is sent with the .sdz or if it is cached somewhere outside of the Streetdeck/Scripts folder. [I also posted this in the Streetdeck forum]
I was able to replicate the issue on my laptop using vista. i'll look into the issue to figure out why its happening
I have updated the digimod to work in the development environment even if the navigation is not available.
To fix the issue with the invalid procedure call, unregister the GasPriceDLL.dll currently located on the COM folder of the digimods scripts directory.
if you dont know how to
use the cmd prompt and cd into the COM folder where the dlls are located.
then type in
regsvr32 /u GasPriceDLL.dll
after that, close the delete the digimod thru streetdeck, make sure to close all folders and cmd prompt pointing to this digimod directory.
then install the digimod again from streetdeck.
if it doesnt work, then register the dll, using this command this time
Hang on, the issue is still not fixed. I just realized that I havent taken care of the situation where an invalid zipcode is give. this is whats causing the invalid procedure call. I am looking into it some more
Ok the invalid argument issue should now be fixed. To be on the safe side, Unregister the GasPriceDLL.dll before uninstalling the current digimod. Then install the new digimod and you should be good to go.
if any issues come up, let me know and i'll fix it.
Ok, tried it out last night and again today and I'm getting a error that it can't resolve the url. Could someone who has this working test zipcode 21060 for me, I'm curious if all of my problems are simply due to a gap in zipcode coverage from the gas price source.
I tried unregistering the dll, it said that it couldn't find it. So I removed the digimod from within SD, the deleted the folder and rebooted the carputer. Double-clicked on the .sdz, which opened SD and it installed just fine, but still can't get it to work. I tried manually entering in a zipcode but it seems to hang and 30 seconds or so later it gives me the previoius mentioned error again. I'm hoping to find a free wifi spot in another zipcode and see if I have better luck with the NAV pulling a different zipcode.
