so far I've gotten the program to work if I don't go into the setup area, but the prices never tell me anything besides 1.999 as the lowest gas, which I know is wrong. Is the service that its getting the prices from messed up?
...and also me. :-)

same as everyone else!
I looked at the issue today. This one is tricky. First off, the issue doesnt occur in developement mode so there is no easy way to indentify the root cause. Second, the logs do not provide any information except for an exception occurring in a particular address. I guess now is that it has something to do with map point.
I'll have to recode this piece by piece again and hopefully i'll find out what the issue is.
Here is an options if you guys still want to use this mod while its been fixed/ figured out. The issue happens when the preferences button is pressed. However since the issue does not happen when in developement mode, I suggest setting up all your preferences in the development mode. This is assuming you know how to run digimods in dev mode. One thats done, the digimod should be able to find the zipcode using the navigation.
The only downside is that you will not be able to manually enter the zipcode via the preferences module. I used the mod this morning using the navigation zipcode and it work fine.
So you guys should still be able to use this mod
i don't...any pointers? This is assuming you know how to run digimods in dev mode
also - any progress on fixing it overall?
Thanks,
Per
No Progress on the fix. This issue is happening with most digital mods. the streetdeck team will have to fix it. I believe they are aware of it.
to run the script on dev mode.
open the SD in dev mode. on the modules panel. browse to find the GPS Gas Price project within the script project. just follow the pic attached.
now double click on Preference. this should bring up the code.
next, Press the Play icon, the one circled on the pic.
now go to the SD window and browse through it to get to the digimod. the Gas Price digimod should be running.
You should be able to change any preference from here.
I just updated to 1.1.0.1 and saw that there were some scripting fixes. I gave this digitalmod a try again and it's working great! Thanks for the hard work on this very, very useful app.
thats great. I havent been able to test this app in a while. my car pc is down again. its good to see it working again.
I just returned from a 1000 mile trip around the state using the Gasprice Mod. It worked great. Solid. No crashes or problems.
I check gas prices every so often for the places I was driving past. Pumped at some gas stations that were a few of blocks away from the interstates that were about 10 cents cheaper per gallon.
Another time, the mod informed me that gas on the other side of the freeway overpass was a few cents cheaper.
