yeap, thats the problem. the app uses the gps zipcode to find search areas so you should be fine once you get your gps receiver.

Anyone else confirm this is still working. I am on the latest google poi version. I am not getting any errors, it just doesnt return any results for anything I enter, including the defaults.

I would try it. but my hard drive is messed up, so my carpc is non functional. once I get that fixed, i'll check it out

Yea, it stop working again, this time no erros, but no results at all.... I guess we have to wait for bembowe, to take a look at this issue again.

i took a quick look at this and once again google change their website. I dont think parsing the webpage to get the required info is the best way to go about this. As you can see, google changes their site quite frequently and its just a hustle trying to keep up with their changes.

If google provided a webservice to provide the information we need, then that would be the best route.

although this is one of the best search tools out their, i dont think its worth fixing if its likely to break again soon.
