    Like SNO mentioned, make sure you've got the latest version. Just to make sure I understand the problem, your Settings XML file contains some EmbeddedApp sections, and if you don't change anything, they don't get deleted. But when you try to add a new one, they all get deleted? Make sure your edits to the XML are done properly. The easiest way is to copy one of the EmbeddedApp blocks, paste it into the EmbeddedApps section, and modify. The basic structure of that section is:

    <EmbeddedApps>

    <EmbeddedApp>
    <app stuff>
    <app stuff>
    </EmbeddedApp>

    <EmbeddedApp>
    <app stuff>
    <app stuff>
    </EmbeddedApp>

    </EmbeddedApps>

    An easy way to validate that your XML isn't corrupt is to open the XML file in IE (usually just double-clicking the XML file will load it in IE). If the XML structure is invalid, IE will display an error with the line number of the bad XML.

    Tara.
    I'm still not clear what trial software you're referring to. It sounds like you bought the BlueSoleil software for your PC. You shouldn't need anything else. Is the trial software like a hands-free app for your PC? If so, does it detect incoming calls correctly?

    I'm about 99% sure that you don't want more than one hands-free program running at the same time (such as a Hands-Free plugin and also DriveLine both trying to access the BlueSoleil Hands-Free profile at the same time).

    Clockwork he might be talking about cphone tools from blue soliel, which is most likely his problem if he is running that at the same time. SNO

    Jestersg you should just have to change the existing streets and trips 2009 to 2011 in the embedded app as long as you installed in the programs default directory SNO

    was looking into shoutcast integration into wmp found some things that work need a good internet connection for most im getting internet off my phone through bluetooth
    most are choppy might be my little bit old bb phone making it not very good.

    i just downloaded the wmp asx off of my chosen shoutcast radio stations websites and put them in the driveline playlists seems to only play the station if its located in the playlist folder then you add .ASX to the music extensions and there you go and if you have decent mobile internet you have cool internet radio stations that you like in the driveline wmp player

    plus if you want the album art to work with the radio station i just downloaded a pic of the radio station into the playlist folder and named it the same as the radio station.

    oh ya if you have lots of radio stations in the playlist folder you can only choose one wont switch to next but not hard to delete current playlist and then choose new station. thats pretty much my tinkering around in driveline today maybe its common knowledge to do that but thought i would see if anybody was interested in that info.

    guess i wasnt done with driveline today i have plenty of third party Visualizer,s for wmp allmost all make driveline crash or the visualizer like whitecap complain the grahics driver is not installed only one that worked was Morphyre Visualizer its ok got some cool effects well better than stock wmp anyway its pretty easy to find thats my two cents .

    Wow, I'm really going to have to look into that internet radio thing. I guess I will add .ASX to the default settings file. The folder that you put the file in really shouldn't matter, as long as you can browse to it. That's funny that this program can do some stuff I never even really meant for it to do. Soon it will become sentient and self-aware.

    As for visualizer errors, my recommendation is to set up any custom visualizations in WMP (not through DriveLine) and confirm that they work there. I've never messed with custom visualizations. And if they crash, I don't think there will be much I can do about that. I usually just set the visualizations to Battery Randomization through WMP once, and then I'm all set.

    as far as internet radio i tried making playlists with them but they would work once and then stop. plus its faster to select new station if its right in the playlist folder

    and i have noticed whatever settings wmp is at with visualizers will show up in driveline
    all my visualizers work in wmp i use them all the time in wmp.when i first tried driveline it crashed cause i was using energy bliss downloadable from microsoft i changed it to stock wmp viz then it worked

    hmm well i was cool with you not messing with 3rd party visualizers but i just ran across this visualizer http://www.plane9.com/ and free!! wow once you see them in wmp playing there pretty sick so i guess this would be on my wish list lol
