I found a command line entry that got rid of the "Windows is not genuine" message and also got rid of the nag screen when booting up. I am assuming that this only got rid of the annoying parts but did not actually make Windows genuine.
This isn't a discussion for this thread, or really for this forum at all, but 1 quick FYI and then we should probably drop the subject:
    - Any registry hack, command line entry, or exe that claims to get rid of the "Windows is not genuine" does just as you describe. However, some will allow you to run Windows Update. The only way to be 100% truly genuine is to buy you're own key and register that with Microsoft.

Driveline has been using 4.0 since around Novemeber 2012 since that is the last one I have that still works.
It still works without errors even today? It doesn't throw these .Net framework errors? Before a complete re-install of Windows, do an un-install of [b]all[/ab] the .Net stuff on your PC through the control panel -> programs and features, and download the .Net framework and re-install...

I do get errors in Driveline ocassionally still but those are only for songs that I know are corrupt on the hard drive. I will check to see if windows updates work, uninstall any framework stuff I have now, make sure that I have the proper 4.0, and then if it still does not work, I will use a genuine windows copy. I have a license for Windows since I got the image legally, I just don't have a product key so I probably just installed it improperly somewhere along the way. Lol I did not just torrent windows and hope it would work without paying, I can get it free through my school. I will stop posting now though so we don't get off topic.

Before you reinstall windows, I would try this, since it seems to be the version of Framework 4.0 that I have installed.

If you have corrupt song files, you can send them to me and I will try to modify DriveLine to gracefully handle these instead of generating errors.

Found out I had the wrong windows copy installed anyways. I installed my legit copy and the product key worked! So now Driveline functions as it should and I have updated to the latest version. Something that I noticed is that on the main screen, there are gaps for buttons that can be found on other pages. Is there any way to make those gaps disappear? I liked having the settings button on the main screen.

There shouldn't be any gaps. Did you perhaps use an old settings file with the new version?

Go into Settings and scroll down to Skin Settings, and then Icon Grid. You can move tiles around and between the 2 main screens.

I'd like to understand why you have gaps, but this should allow you to correct it.

Oh cool, I did not know that feature was added. I will have to give that a try. Hopefully its not too difficult to do with the touch screen so that I dont have to pull the computer from the car again.

    New version.

    New since the previous version:
Added code for HD Radio RDS.
    Optimized the text auto-size function.
Added skin command AssignVarFromObject. It takes two parameters: The variable name, and the object name. There you go, Enforcer.
Added new "Fade-In" function to gradually raise the volume of the current media source from zero to the set level over a specified period of time when DriveLine starts or resumes.
The screen mapping now defaults correctly when the settings have not been configured.
Implemented new Flick code for lists. Lists now scroll as an item is being dragged. Speed sensitivity added.

The "Latest Build" thread has been updated. So has the AutoAppMart. So has my personal website.
