If WMP can't play it, then DriveLine can't. But it sounds like just a codec issue. Maybe a quick download will fix it. I have no idea where you get a DVD codec for XP though.

Yes, it's normal to hear the HD Radio click when you start the program. DriveLine keeps the radios on the whole time. This way, the device is ready immediately when you choose to listen to it. Also, this way, you can seek/tune the radio to see what's playing on the HD Radio stations without having to actually listen to it.

Have you tried any HD2 or HD3 channels?

Yes, after looking through the settings file I saw that it was a double click action required to change channels. It works as expected.

I haven't looked into it yet. Did you find a codec and get it working in Media Player?

Not having any luck. I found K-Lite and installed it, but it makes WMP11 crash. There are so many codecs and so many setup options. None of them make any sense.

All I know is, if you google something hard enough, you'll find that someone else has had this problem before. And hopefully, a solution.

Hi CLockWork, just in case something goes wrong with the PM I sent, I tried the test app with the DAB module and the functions you wanted to test work fine now.

Hey jhornbr225 you can try this codec pack for XP http://www.free-codecs.com/XP_Codec_Pack_download.htm

if that doesn't work I have just mpeg2 codec that will work. Also http://cccp-project.net/ is another main one to install as well. Hope it helps SNO

OMG Video codecs suck! I tried all of those and the best I can do is: WMP - Sound but no video

MPC-HC, plays choppy and upside down, no matter any settings I change.

I was really hoping to get DVD's and video to play in WMP, as that's what Clockwork prefers. That way the playlist manager will control it.

Well, I think this thin client is a lost cause. I downloaded and installed VLC, it plays a DVD, up side up, the problem is that it drops so many frames it barely looks like a slide show. Thinking that an .mp4 might be better, I tried a video file. That pegs the processor, shows no video and brings the mouse to a standstill. This little underpowered box is not going to cut it.

It might work as a nav and music system, but it is never gonna play video.

So now the descion, keep the Thin Client because I like the lower power consumption, but completely rule out video. I have not even tried running navigation and music at the same time yet. I've also got a OBD II reader on the way.

Or, I can go with the Dual Core ~3ghz Mini-ITX with an SSD and Win 7 64 Bit. But if I go that route, I really don't need the lightweight front end.

    ARRGH!
