I found the chipset blue soleil uses for their hardware as that should be the best for using their software. The chipset you need is ralink rt3090 it's pretty common to find on ebay. I think HP used them in their laptops. They work the way it should. It would save you alot of agro. Can't beat em join em SNO

It sounds like I might have to invest in one of these Parrot units, and see what all the fuss is about.

Im actually testing it at the moment,

I made a test apps thats able to make and answer call and stream audio from the phone, Im using the I2S port of the module and sending the digital audio stream to the PC via USB. Voice recognition is supported, can pull the contacts using the vcard format and including pictures.

The module uses 8KHz sample rate for the phone call and 44.1KHz for the BT audio stream. I can transfer it to USB with no problem using the hardware I made for the DAB radio, the problem is I can transfer one or the other at the moment due to different in sample rate. 44.1KHz when streaming music then the module switch to 8KHz rate when using the phone.

The other thing is I need to upgrade the firmware of the BT module to iwrap 5 and that need a licence key, iwrap 4 and below doesnt seems to support echo/noise cancel, it appears the echo/noise cancel function need a license as it is made by a 3rd party company. Im pretty dissapointed actually.

I had a looked at other BT module and most of them are not hobby friendly, meaning getting all the info about it can be difficult unless you show the manuacturer that you will order 1000s of module.

anyway I'm ready to test as I already have the noise noise microphone (andrea da-350) and the echo cancellation card (Phoenix audio soho Pci). I can get a WT32 module and start testing if you're ready to send me your soft.
