    Anyone found a cheaper USB that works with Driveline. My truck already has a built in camera, just want to convert it to use in Driveline.

    At the same time, is there a short cut key I could use to trigger it to switch to camera view? Have a Joyconn in my truck that I'd love to have it automatically trigger the camera screen view to camera 1.

    I have a drawer full of cheap usb video dongles, save your pennies and get the Roxio vhs to dvd dongle, you don't need the version 3 model if you can find the older version 2 the dongle is the same just different software. The version 2 is much cheaper if you can find it. Good luck SNO

    Yeah the JoyCon triggering the camera is easy. It's 1am here, I need to crash. But tomorrow I will try to decide on what the shortcut key should be.

    I decided CTRL+E to trigger the camera view.

    In the "Skins\Default Skin" folder there is a file called Skin_HotKeys.XML. You can modify this file to add support for the new hotkey. Below is a screenshot. Add the code highlighted below.

    Name:  HotKeysMod.png
Views: 41
Size:  18.8 KB

    EDIT: Here's the new code in text form:

    Code:

        <OBJECT>
          <Type>HotKeyCommand</Type>
          <HOTKEYCOMMAND>
            <KEYCODE>69</KEYCODE>
            <MOD_ALT>FALSE</MOD_ALT>
            <MOD_CONTROL>TRUE</MOD_CONTROL>
            <MOD_SHIFT>FALSE</MOD_SHIFT>
            <MOD_WIN>FALSE</MOD_WIN>

            <EVENTACTION>
              ;E key.
              RaiseObjectEvent TileMainCamera MouseUp
            </EVENTACTION>

          </HOTKEYCOMMAND>
        </OBJECT>
