I'm out of town on vacation for a couple of days, but I will try to figure out what might be causing your issue.

Well I have tried and I can't seem to get it to zero out. I am at a loss for what to do next. Do you have any radio's installed? On board sound card or USB? SNO

No radios installed. I am using an onboard soundcard. There are no additional soundcards installed in the pc.

Not sure if its related to this but I had that same problem when using another sound apps mixer control. I think I solved this by removing the sound card software and just used windows builtin mixer. SNO

that's what i was thinking. sometimes the Realtek or VIA audio software will cause a conflict.

Ok I have uninstalled my realtek soundcard driver. Windows xp does not have a generic driver to install instead. I have tried downloading different versions of the realtek hd audio driver but all do the same thing. If i open driveline and minimise it, the audio level stays the same as what ever set at shutdown and after startup. However as soon as you close driveline the audio level gets zero'd out. There must be a way for this not to happen

Okay. Thanks for reporting back and taking the time to mess with it. Just to clarify, you shouldn't need to uninstall the driver. I was just referring to the Mixer program that comes with the Realtek software. It usually runs at startup and puts a second speaker/mixer icon in the system tray.

I will dig into this deeper now that I'm home. I may have to give you a new EXE to test and see if it fixes the problem.

    EDIT:
Can you send me your DriveLine_Settings.XML file? I'll PM you with my email address.

    EDIT #2:
Your PM box is full. :-\
