Phone connected with BT and Bluesoleil

I try to connect my phone !
How do i do that ?
It's possible to download the phone's contact a create a contact list for DriveLine !

A cool option would be to read new SMS through the bluesoleil SDK !

Ok I looked at the specs for that phone. Is it samsungs own OS, it doesn't really say in manual. anyhow you need it paired in windows first, then in Driveline tools and web/settings/bluetooth under device name should be the name of your phone as in windows that should be it, now depends on what your phone will expose to blue solei and driveline. Hopefully Clockwork will chime in soon to offer better help SNO

DriveLine currently does not access the phonebook or SMS. I need to buy a BlueSoleil 8 license and do some work on the PhoneBook Access Profile. For the moment, if you can export your contacts to a VCF file, save it in the DriveLine\Settings folder as Contacts.VCF and the contacts will be available in DriveLine.

I bought the blue soleil 8 license then it started giving me a nag screen to free update to version 10. So I finally got tired of the nag screen and updated, then it would no longer pair with my phone. It seems you have to purchase a license for the phone integration in version 10. So I went back to 8 and live withe the fully licensed nag screen.

This is the kind of crap that makes me want to find a crack! But I'm not one of those guys though. I am disappointed with blue soleil though!

BlueSoleil is a bucket full of disappointment. Bluetooth in general is the worst interface I've ever had the misfortune of trying to write code for.

"Let's create a wireless peripheral communication standard, then everyone implement it differently. Let's make it so some hardware works with some software. We'll call the software 'stacks'. Everyone can have their own, some companies can charge for theirs, and no company will expose all the parts of it that everyone wants. We'll go through version after version, each one costing money, and none of them working 100%. Basically, F#@K everyone."

I solve the problem by reverting back in time before cell phone existed, and I don't answer or use phone in vehicle when moving. Nothing is that important that it can't wait a few minutes. SNO

Yeah I really don't need to answer the phone, just I want to see who called.

I also have OnStar and 300 prepaid minutes from when I bought the car, so I could use that if I really need to talk while driving, and it's all voice command stuff.
