So, to see if I understand, you want DriveLine to mute all other apps when a call comes in, and then unmute them when the call is done. Is that correct?

not really. I already added this to my phone app. What I want in driveline is two things: have a button to up/down the master volume. Have a mute button on all driveline pages. sometimes I'm in on the home page and I need to quickly mute the audio but I have to go into the player for that.

Okay, well, I've added code that control the master volume and all apps volumes, and mute of course. Things are about to get a lot more complicated...

Yo Guys. I'm back again. Been busy lately. haven't even had the time to test my app and install my BT card. I have finally decided which way to go. I just ordered this speaker. The goal is to use a separate speaker with the BT card as I cannot make it work with the oem amp. To make it work with the OEM amp and the carpc soundcard I would need an additional amp to get both sources to go to the oem amp or change the oem amp and get one which accepts two inputs. So I'm going the easy way. The speaker is loud enough and will be fed a 3.5 jack coming from the BT card and a USB cable coming from the carpc for power. and it will be sitting near enough. plus I have a small car so :-)

Good news: I made a passive mixer to be able to have both the Bluetooth board audio and the sound card audio go the same car amp :-)
I followed this turorial here and made myself a nice 2 inputs mixer.

And it is working :-) So no need for a separate speaker. Volume is a tad low when both devices are connected but nothing bad. I might look into this in the future with a better design.

found an alternative dev board to the Laird one I'm using and cheaper. so if you guys are looking for a reliable phone solution someone should get this and test it: Maybe we can buy it for CLockwork to test and intergrate to driveline instead of the current Bluetooth solution : 49$

That board looks great! If I didn't just grab a new head unit for bluetooth support, I would probably buy one of those. It even appears to support showing ID3 tags through Bluetooth.
