The buttons have always supported transparency.

    Hint #3:

Basically, it's an effect in Windows Phone 8.1 where the 'background' image is not visible on the object, but it is visible on the object's transparent children.

This FE is really starting to grow on me. Is the lime green configurable? (political way of asking if the sh... green can be changed by any idiot.... so I can do it myself)

Every part of the UI is configurable through XML files and images files. Some of the skin settings can also be modified from inside the front end.

There's also a built-in colorizer, used to provide several different colored versions of the same skin.

So basically, there are a few different ways to modify things within DriveLine. And anything that isn't easy to modify, I'm willing to look into providing ways of making it easier.

Examples of the Default Skin with different colorizers applied:

I modify my screens all the time. Here's an example of the main screen schemes by just making some simple .XML changes, and I know nothing about software coding:

I'll see what I can do. Black on White might take a little work though. There are some objects still using hard-coded color values of Black in the skin files. They need to be updated to use variables. And some of the images that don't have perfect transparency will look sort of ugly on a white background.
