    Modification request (specialized)

    I need a page with 8 temperature gauges to read data from a com port that is outputting plain ascii
    Data stream looks like this currently but I can remove the ID and time as it would not be needed for this page
    ID=010657000516232
    14:25:30 8/11/2015
    T0=22.31 T1=22.65 T2=23.51 T3=26.92
    T4=21.40 T5=41.00 T6=21.35 T7=23.45

    Even just using the built-in gauges would be fine but they need to move with varying temperatures

    Is this something that can be done? The layout can be simple with just 8 gauges of the same look similar to this mockup I made

    A little about the project. It is just a temp sensor board using Arduino mini pro and DS18B20 sensors. 1 to 8 sensors can be used and can update as per your requirements. It can also output the current time report as well as a individual ID number of your choosing or not. I have the sketch I made if anyone needs it. I have run cables to 12 meters with no irregularities or issues

    Of course it can be done.

    Does it need to be part of DriveLine? Or maybe an external app that can be embedded?

    It would be fine as just another page in DL, maybe that could be picked from the settings page if you need this or not. Be nice to pick how many sensors you would use and display in settings too. This might be good for the fork if no one really needs that many temp readings or uses Phidgets instead. I would really leave that to you as the best way to go about it. SNO
