    Hi i just ordert the ELM327 and i want to write my own software but anyone knows or there are maybe opensource codes availble or some free DLL to use? plz Let me know.

    ScanTool.net offers an open source version of their application which you could use as a template for your design if you wish (there are other applications available that are open source as well).
