    OBD II standard recording

    Hey everyone, had a question about the OBD II's recording capabilities. I have to take my car in soon and I was wondering what information the dealership could pull up on my recent driving. Does the OBD II record data automatically or do you need a plugin to record any data? Can they see my average speed etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated.


    PS. the car is a 2000 Chevy Trailblazer

    I know a number of high performance cars now have this sort of capability to detect abuse / modifications when it comes to warranty work - I suspect its nothing to do with ODB2 but a completely different system...
