    OBD Commands Question

Is there a general ODB command that will return the total distance the vehicle has traveled in its life time.

You want to read the odometer? It's a common question but that's not available as part of generic OBD2. Only solution would be to borrow the dealer/factory scantool, see if it can read odometer, then reverse-engineer how to do it.

Did you have a specific make model year in mind or do you want to do it across multiple vehicles?
