While MAP will fluctuate as your turbos spool up, it is not the same as your boost PSI.
Just being curious,
i have tried to read 0x0B from MODE 01 and i cannot get a reply - so it seems my TT does not have this pid supported.
Does anyone know what is the PID for Boost Pressure in Audi TT / Audi * cars ?
Many thanks!

Aberk,
so which PId is to be used as ACTUAL Presure / Requested Pressure ?
You can try Mode 01 PID 6F or Mode 01 PID 70 for boost pressure. If either is successful, I can help you interpret the response. These PIDs are very new to J1979 (OBD II Spec document). So if your car is not very new, I would seriously doubt that it supports either.
If neither is supported, you are at the mercy of Audi. You may be able to reverse engineer a dealer scan tool.
Aberk it is Audi TT 2000 and would like this tool to work for all TT MK1 models.
I'll test those pids in a few minutes and will come back with the results.
As RPMS/SPEED/THROTTLE and Temperatures are readable via standard PIDS (wikipedia) - those 'special' ones seems not to respond...
Gimme 30minutes..
Ahh...
bad news.
Both addresses do not reply ;/
Maybe there is some free software that would printout the supported pids via OBDII ?
Yes there is. http://www.glmsoftware.com/DownloadsPidReader.aspx
Just register and you can download it.
Then read pids 00, 20, 40, 60 and type in the results and you can see the supported pids.
What model year is this car?
p2psmurf - it is AUDI TT MK1 (2000/2001)
I'll checkout this pid reader..
Nah, this software does not find my OBD interface..
Damn.
OBDGPSLogger can print what PIDs are supported. Here's the output when I try it on my mini:
