odb ll for mazda3

dear all
i have elm327 cable (serial type) and connect to my honda car is ok.
but i can't connect to mazda3.

what odb ll cable for mazda3?

What year is the mazda3, also what country are you from? It's quite possible the mazda3 does not have OBD-2 capability. Also where did you get the cable from? A reputable source or from ebay? It could be a fake ELM which don't work with all cars.

i use mazda3 2005 and i stay in thailand my abd ll is bougth from ebay.

you mean mazda3 use elm327 right?

Someone else will have to chip in as to if 2005 was OBD2 compliant in your country, but if you bought your cable from ebay, chances are it's the cables fault. You get what you pay for, and the cheap ebay knockoffs are just that... cheap.

Mazda uses the ISO 91-41 ODB protocol which is supported by the ELM chip, of course given that it is an ELM chip
