If supported you can use pid $43 Absolute Load value.
100% is 1 bar absolute = atmospheric pressure.
200% is 2 bar absolute = 1 bar boost, etc.
According to SAE J1979 this pid must be supported.
Hi there
I'm working on a project for windows mobile that reads the sensor values via an elm327 bluetooth dongle. I've made a boost gauge and wanted to test it out on a mates Seat Ibiza 1.8t as he has a boost gauge fitted. After querying the ecu for supported PIDs, I found that it doesn't support a MAP sensor reading :-(
I've been told its possible to read this using VAG-COM.
Does anybody out there know if Scanguage is capable of reading the MAP sensor PID and what it does to read it?
Cheers
Simon

No luck, the absolute load value PID isn't supported by the ECU.
I suppose if I new anything about how VAG-COM works, I could get at it that way.
