Got ford software but which cable do I need...

Hi guys. I have been given some Ford software which I believe can recode my injectors but obviously I need the cable. I have been told that I dont neccesarily need a VCM cable as a mObYdIc Formidable one is not VCM and that is also able to reprogram.

Can anyone tell me exactly. I tried googling but all I get is VMM, CAN, VCm and it all means nothing to me. Cheapest cable would be very handy. Its Not Ford IDS software.

    Its a 2003 Ford Mondeo TDCi 2.0 115

    Thanks Guys

Leave the recoding of injectors to an official dealer or a independent professional with professional equipment. You are likely to damage more than you're barging for.

Perhaps if we knew what software we could help you out with your research as to what cable it requires.

Just a shame I can't justify a carpc to use it on anymore.

It was just called ford software so I downloaded it but to be very honest it does look very similar to the Formidabble but just called different. it has all same options and looks identical.

If you post the dnload link (PM me if you like) I'll test out the software on an cable/interface and a Ford ECU and try to let you know you'll need. If your software is the Fordmidabble, then you'll need the Ozen interface.

http://eecanalyzer.net/ is supposed to work via the ELM.

    Cheers

It is very similar to the formidable one but it's called ford scan 2.02. I don't want to get in trouble but I downloaded it from rapidshare. (mods please edit this if I'm in the wrong). I can pm link shortly when I get home If you can't find it. Thanks

    Sign up to www.fordmondeo.org

There's not a question someone wouldn't be able to answer when it comes to Ford Mondeo's mate.

Refer ID: "The Guv." without the quote marks if u decide to sign up, it's completely free and extremely useful for us Mondeo owners.

It is the same as the formidable one! You'd need the Ozen ford interface for that. "mOByDic 3210 USB"
