    ELM323 and CAN

    I purchased a pre-built scanner about 2 years ago. It shows up as an elm 323 v2.0 in the scantool software. Is this version compatible with the CAN bus or do I need to purchase the 327 version? I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and I think I have the CAN bus but I have pins for the K bus in the OBDII connector as well. Would my truck have both protocols?
    If its not broken, take it apart anyway to see how it works!

    As I remember ELM327 support CAN comunicating from v1.1a. But Im not shure for 1.2 and 1.3 Im hear that support CAN...
