OBDroid, Android based bluetooth OBD2 scan tool

IPhone has Rev, however the Android has nothing for OBD2 gauges and logging, so I decided to write an app to do just that. Presenting OBDroid! This program is in the very early stages, and atm it only supports a few OBD2 values, and the bluetooth adapter address is hardcoded in.... but it works!

If anyone is interested in testing this, I would be more than happy to work with people on an individual basis making sure it works until I get it to a stable enough point to release it.

Hey looks good. As soon as I got my Droid I started working on a bluetooth OBD application too. My app is called Voyager. Hit me up if you're interested in working together!

Sorry, I don't need any help with this project, I need beta testers :P

powermaxtransmi PM me your email address along with the model of phone and bluetooth obd2 you have if you don't mind. Be advised that due to the lack of descent bluetooth functionality in earlier Android versions, this application is for Android 2.0+ only.

    I'm willing to test.

I got this bluetooth obdii interface from ebay:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/Bluetooth-Scannn...item3a510212cc

Will this work? I also have the Sprint HTC Hero Android, but I do know that it's 1.5 not the 2.0 that is needed.

So, 2 hurdles for me. If you say my bluetooth obdii interface won't work, then I'm out. If it's good, I'll work on getting a 2.0 Android.

Wow, I am really impressed with your screen shot! I would like to beta test. I would consider buying the bluetooth elm if you are serious about getting this app going.
