    Question OBD2 in VB6

    hi I'd like to have help please I am now a project that consists of a graphical interface to a system of automotive diagnostic my problem is how to program codes OBD2 Do not ask a lot but be an example for "the speed of a car"

    VB6 or a newer VB.net?

    In VB6 for a ELM based (or ELM clone based) interface, you would generally use the MSCOMM conrol and write out packets you construct to the serial port.

    It's possible that someone has already written an OCX control (or .NET component) wrapper.

    Some of the non-ELM interfaces also have existing OCX and .NET interfaces.
